We believe that no one should have to face the end of life alone. Our dedicated NODA volunteers provide a palliative befriending service to people in the community who have received a terminal diagnosis, offering emotional support, companionship, and a reassuring presence when they need it most.
In addition to supporting individuals in the community, our volunteers also
sit with elderly residents in care homes who are actively dying and have no family or friends to be with them in their final moments. This compassionate service ensures that every person receives the dignity, comfort, and human connection they deserve at the end of life.
